We are engaged in the development of various products that meet diverse needs, including oil dampers for seismic isolation and vibration control in large-scale structures and hydraulically-operated machinery and equipment.
While oil dampers are used for seismic isolation and vibration control in medium and high-rise buildings, friction dampers and viscosity dampers (KVD) play an active role as important construction components for bridges. In particular, our originally developed oil dampers (KYD) for vibration control, which efficiently absorb small vibrations caused by earthquakes and wind and employ bilinear characteristics with distinct aerodynamic properties and a double-rod structure. It has attracted market attention as a high-performance vibration control device that has a simple structure with a built-in accumulator and displays stable damping performance. It is being used in bridges, schools, hospitals and other structures.

Hydraulic cylinders are principal components to play a central role in a wide range of industries. Applications include civil construction machinery, industrial vehicles, general industrial machinery, and ships.
Products with excellent durability such as elongated cylinders and large-scale cylinders are frequently used in construction machinery such as cranes, hydraulic excavators, forklifts, tower cranes and shield machines. From custom-ordered products with individual uses that fulfill rigorous conditions in terms of cost to standardized products with highly general uses, our products broadly respond to needs in various industries.

As a pioneer of injection-molding machines for forming plastics and rubber, Kawakin Holdings Group has been ahead of its time in developing injection-molding machines that meet market requirements in a timely manner. At present, control equipment incorporating CPUs that handles factory automation (FA) and flexible manufacturing systems (FMS) has enabled the full automation of injection-molding machines, which contributes to labor saving and unmanned operations. The latest models have realized high-cycle molding through dramatic improvements in accuracy and the handling of precision and ultra-precision molding.
We are also actively undertaking the development of environmentrelated equipment from production to recycling. We have developed a waste plastic system that roughly crushes waste mainly consisting of plastic with a primary crusher, then removes metal inclusions, recrushes the resultant residue, and finally solidifies it into a fuel using a secondary crusher. This refuse solidification fuel (RDF), which can be used for power generation, factory heaters, wide-area air conditioning, and heated swimming pools, has attracted much attention and gained a high reputation as an example of a 21st century type development that has combined resource recycling with environmental protection.
